Gelati di Gioia (pronounced: (/joi uh/)) is a gelato cart dedicated to fresh promoting the art of gelato-making through its production of authentic Italian gelato in small concentrated batches. We are committed to serving the freshest and highest quality gelato and sorbetto using local ingredients from small farms. Supporting the local agriculture and economy is important to us. We work with farms and businesses in our community to source important ingredients for our gelato and sorbet that are inspired by community-specific flavors, such as Strawberry or Blueberry from Plant City. If we can’t get it here, we buy it from small producers in the USA and never use ingredients shipped from overseas where they had plenty of time to lose their flavor. More importantly, NO CANNED FLAVORS ARE USED!!!!! Most Gelateria’s who claim to be “Authentic” or "Artesian” uses these. It is easier and cheaper...but, never better. We’ve chosen to set our own path and return to a lost art; combining traditional and modern production methods to make and continue to strive for exceptional pure Italian gelato. Why eat Chef Boyardee if you have the opportunity to have fresh homemade ravioli?
